stampin' it out

This morning after doing some chores I attempted to make some stamps. I've been seeing this stamp making all through out blogland and decided to give it a try myself. I bought my stamp kit from Michael's last week (those 50% off coupons sure come in handy)~

(I just realized after doing some web "researching" what I've actually done here is created a negative-space stamp, oh well live and learn!-I found this website pretty helpful:

This was fun, and I look forward to spending more time stamping in the future-practicing more and making some nice pretty cards.

    So, you're a leftie? :-) Your stamps look good. I like that you try many different things. Your girls will learn lots from you and will be exposed to a variety of things as young children. That's fantastic!

    Thanks Libby! I do dabble in a number of crafts it kinda reminds me of that saying "jack of all trades master of none"- I like trying things without even necessarily being good at them-I just don't want to buy into "perfectionist" mindset-which I find very self limiting.
    And yeah, I'm a lefty which means I'm in my right mind, right?
    I always appreciate your kind and supportive comments Libby, they are a treat for me to read.
